It seems the yen is loosing terrain a little. The US Dollar went almost to 143.- last week, but sees syable around $142.- right now.

I bought a nice purple solar G-Shock for £64,98.
Rate: € 1.- = £ 0.854887
I paid: € 76,01

A nice CD by Mr. Oizo. I didn't know I already had it. No problem, it.s a great CD.

Price: £8,99
Rate: €1.- = £0,856190
Paid: €10,50 (on all webshops in The Netherlands it costs almost twice as much).

I bought this charity shirt for the Japanese Red Cross yesterday at KIKS TYO International Shop.

Price including shipping: ¥4.440
Rate: €1.00 = ¥ 116,474
Paid: €38,12 (unfortunately 1/3 is postage).

Since I got my iPhone in March 2009, I was constantly checking the Currency app. I buy a lot of stuff around the world and I am always interested in the currency rates over time. I mostly pay in US$, £ and ¥, but sometimes I pay in CAN$ and AU$ too.

I started this blog on July 13th 2010, but I had already some screen shots saved on my iPhone. This explains why you find screenshots from back to October 2009.

I will try to update this blog from time to time, if there are any interesting changes. I don't know in what frequency. If there does not change much, it is not interesting to post daily. Maybe the Weekend is a good moment to post, because there is no exchanges are closed then. Maybe I will rapport my purchases and the calculated value in € in the future too.

I'm not sure I will allow comments. I made this blog in the first place for my own reference. On my 50 Gs weblog I already noticed that spammers love posting comments.
